Lockyer Valley Blackouts

For approximately 4 hours, residents of the Lockyer Valley area had no power which affected over 4,000 people.

Recent concerns over the maintenance of the electricity network have been questioned by members of parliament.

Recent heatwaves have been also in the news as mounting pressure on the network add loads to the increasing number of dwellings also being developed in the area. 

Their had been reporting that only 300 houses where affected.

Their had also been reports that this was caused by a tree but this also has been unconfirmed.
